要旨	前近代カンボジアの上座部仏教寺院において中核的な祭儀建築であったヴィヒア(vihāra / vihear)は、近現代寺院にみられる布薩堂や在家信者の礼拝・諸儀礼など複合的な機能を担う本堂「プレア・ヴィヒア」に相当するものと考えられる。しかし現在では、その基壇遺構のみが残存するにとどまり、とりわけ上座部仏教流入直後に属する初期段階のヴィヒアについては、その形態的・機能的特徴が十分に明らかになっていない。本稿では、アンコール・トム内に所在する最大規模の上座部仏教寺院遺構ATV009において、2023~2024年に実施した発掘調査および建築学的調査の成果に基づき、ヴィヒアの形態と機能の変遷過程を検討するものである。さらに他遺構との比較を通じて、もともと礼拝対象建築に付属する施設であったヴィヒアが、時代の推移とともに多機能化した可能性について論じる。

タイトル	Consideration of a Living Heritage Approach in Archaeological Resource Management in Oc Eo-Ba The Site Complex, An Giang Province, Vietnam

要旨	The management of a living heritage that can fulfil individual, local, and national needs provides a strong connection between the past and the modern world in valuing and protecting the past. The responsibility to value and protect the past to make it a living heritage must be built not only on a national scale but also on the local community itself. In Vietnam, living heritage focuses on intangible heritage, aiming to sustain “the living” aspects surrounding archaeological sites, such as humans and their daily lives that connect them with the past. This study examined the current conservation management model of Oc Eo-Ba The site complex, specifically, the value-based approach, and found that community involvement in such activities is minimal. It proposes a living heritage approach with community participation in conservation management as a direction for heritage management. This study also considers how public archaeology is formed at Oc Eo-Ba The site complex through connections between residents, archaeologists, and museums. Based on qualitative data collected from in-depth interviews with residents regarding their perspectives on archaeological activities and sites in their living areas, a discourse analysis was conducted to explore the relationship and connections between the community and archaeology.

タイトル	三木栄とシラパコーン学校(タイ)に関する考察

要旨	明治末にタイに渡り、大正、昭和にかけて現在のタイ文化省芸術局に奉職した三木栄という日本人がいる。三木は東京美術学校(現・東京藝術大学美術学部)漆工科の卒業生であるが、本業の漆工よりも、1930年代半ばから第二次世界大戦終了までの日本の対外宣伝活動の文脈での言及が顕著である。一方、芸術局や三木のいう「美術学校」在籍時の活動に関する研究は極めて少なく、特に「美術学校」は特定すらされていなかった。本稿ではタイ国立公文書館所蔵資料に基づき、現在タイ考古学を牽引する芸術局と深く関係するシラパコーン学校の設立当初、日本人がどのように関与したのかを解明し、考古学部創設前のシラパコーン学校黎明期の歴史を整理する。

要旨	The Phuoc Ly kiln site (Lò Gốm Cổ Phước Lý) is a stoneware kiln located in Vinh Giang, Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province, Central Vietnam. It has been suggested that the stoneware produced at this kiln site was transported to Japan through red seal ship trade and other means. However, the specific appearance of the products produced at the kiln site has not been made public, and their dating has not been fully examined. This paper introduces and discusses surface artifacts believed to have been produced and consumed at the kiln site, based on the results of a survey of the Phuoc Ly kiln site conducted in 2023. As a result, it is estimated that some of the types of vessels produced at the Phuoc Ly kiln site, as well as the kiln site and products, can be dated to the mid- 17th century.
